Choosing A Theme
First Birthday Parties can be the easiest in my opinion when choosing a theme! It really isn’t rocket science when it comes to deciding on what baby is going to like. It is important to make sure and pick something they recognize, get excited over, can even name.
This will make them feel so important and smart. They will be to include their guests in a prideful naming of their theme that they can see and recognize on thier plates and napkins. It makes me smile just thinking of how cute it all can be.
So for 1st birthday party themes, pick one that the child absolutely adores. Even if it is NOT your favorite.
All children go through different times where they absolutely love a certain thing. 
My neice went through a love for trains. This was a perfect theme for her birthday because they were so important to her at that time.
Remember you don’t have to go with a major known character if you don’t have the funds to do so, they will enjoy what you come up with.
Remember that a theme and/or colors will really bring the whole party together, and will also help with the rest of the aspects of the party. Invitations, cake, decorations, and activities…will all be much easier to figure out once you’ve got a theme.
This should be the most fun of the your baby’s first birthday party planning. Finding just the right theme idea that they are going to love will be probably most fulfilling!
