There are so many little birthday decorating ideas, and some people have heard them all, or like me…I did a lot of decorating for dances and things in high school. I hope these little helpful hints help. You can lay two different colored streamers together and then twist them, it will be a simple but fancy little decor accent. It gives it a great double color effect, to go with your color theme.

Another neat little effect is to pull some streamers tight when securing and then leave some slack in some of the streamers. It creates depth in your streamer decor. Easy…but effective.

Find a ceiling you can reach that will be part of you birthday party…tac streamers to the outside edge, twist, and secure in the center of the ceiling. A square ceiling works the best, like a dining room or the party room.

You will probably want to start at each corner, and if you want to commit to the whole outer edge…then go for it!!! It will look great!

Let the streamers hang so it has a nice rounded curve before you secure, the more streamers you add you will begin to see a great party effect come to life!

Please don’t hesitate to ask for help. Whether it be your kids, or a freind, you won’t need tons of people, but just one set of extra hands will take some of that pressure off. Plus, hanging streamers is way easier with four hands!
