Where Iive there are places where kids can eat, play in huge padded jungle gym type place, also video games. You can also consider a bowling alley, maybe for the older ones. In choosing a venue, always note the convenience of the location for the guests.
~Decide on a good time. Birthday parties are commonly determined to be in the early afternoon on a weekend. You might want to get input from the potential guest on a good time for them, before you make out invitations. Another deciding facor is if you will be serving food or not.
~Do the invitation and give at least a two week notice. You can make your own invitations to save money. They don’t have to be extravagant, you can buy stickers with the theme you have chosen write them out, even let your child help. Sometimes it is cheaper to buy invites, but it is funner to make them… completely up to you and how you want the experience to go. It is crucial that you have them sent out with enough time for people to plan, and also all the info you want the invites to have for attending the part. ~Make a list of supplies you will need for the whole party. Start with decorations, eating supplies, cleaning supplies, game supplies… obvioulsy depending on what you are doing for your party. If possible, decorate the venue a day ahead so you won’t have to worry about it when the date comes.
~Write out your agenda. If the party is going to be 2 hours, write out your 15 minute to 15 minute play. It doesn’t have to be exactly followed the day of but you will be pleasently surprised at how helpful it will be incase of down time. Younger guests can give you a hard time and this will save the day. It also helps when the kids know what is expected of them even if it is fun the whole time.
